Vision Councils

The following are the four impact areas that the Vision Councils address.

Childhood Development

The purpose of this Vision Council is to promote emotional, social and physical development of children in Wells County.

Self Sufficiency for aging and vulnerable populations

The purpose of this Vision Council is to provide basic needs for aging and vulnerable populations to include, but not be limited to, shelter, food, utilities, clothing, transportation and adult literacy

Health and Safety

The purpose of this Vision Council is to search for and evaluate programs and agencies to address the health and safety concerns of the Community. Programs would include, but not be limited to, drug education, driver education, underinsured medical needs, domestic violence issues, education of health and safety issues and mental health issues.

Inclusiveness

The purpose of this Vision Council is to insure that Wells County is a welcoming community where people of diverse backgrounds and experience sustain and continue to develope their economic, physical, relational and spiritual well-being.
